Listed Building Consent has recently been granted in respect of energy efficient double-glazed windows for a Grade II Listed Farmhouse.
The owners, who are keen to preserve the character of this charming 16th century property, wanted to address the heat-loss from their 1960s single-glazed windows by replacing them with high quality double-glazed units in a style more in keeping with the building.
With historic photographs and a substantial amount of supporting information, including a full-sized sample of the proposed window, an application was submitted. Our client was advised by Planning consultants, A S Planning Ltd of Crowborough, and approval was granted in mid March. |
