Greenwich-based Medical Centre Developments has obtained the ground floor of a new building on the Lee High Road in Lewisham for a new Doctor’s Surgery. This will provide new premises for an established nearby surgery; this new facility will be a welcome change from the practice’s current basement-conversion. Completion of the fit-out was on the 1st of June and staff are looking forward to moving into the new purpose-built facility. It enjoys a large, light reception area, state-of-the art patient-call system, a treatment room, four PCT Clinics as well as three GP consulting rooms. The consulting rooms are arranged around a top-lit corridor, which leads off the busy reception area, providing privacy for patients. The new facility also benefits from a children’s play area, accessible WCs, as well as a large “Health Promotions” room for group meetings and clinics.
