The practice has significant experience across many areas of work, whilst the proven track record for residential and healthcare work has resulted in an additional speciality with the directors acting as Expert Witnesses on disability needs in High Court cases.

Cowan Architects has been extensively involved in the development of nursing homes and close-care accommodation for a variety of patient groups including geriatric and EMI residents. The practice is pro-active in developing design solutions in close liaison with nursing and management staff to provide quality residential care.
