The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE) is based in Lingfield, Surrey, providing education, rehabilitation, treatment and care for children and young people with complex/neurological epilepsy and other conditions.

Cowan Architects have worked with the Centre and their Building Contractors over a number of years primarily involved in the provision of residential care accommodation. The first of these buildings was the Windmill Project which comprised four linked wings of single storey residential accommodation grouped around a central courtyard. More latterly we were part of the consulting team involved in the construction of Williams House; a two storey block of student accommodation heated by a Biomass Boiler.
